99afb1ffb0 MdeModulePkg/HiiDatabaseDxe: Fix potential intrinsic error
In some VS22 versions, these code patterns (assiging the scalar in
a loop) have been found to be converted into calls to the `memcpy`
intrinsic. This change updates them to use CopyMem to avoid the
potential error.

7a934d0bef MdeModulePkg: Replace include guards with #pragma once
Replace traditional `#ifndef`/`#define`/`#endif` include guards with
`#pragma` once.

`#pragma once` is a widely supported preprocessor directive that
prevents header files from being included multiple times. It is
supported by all toolchains used to build edk2: GCC, Clang/LLVM, and
MSVC.

Compared to macro-based include guards, `#pragma once`:

- Eliminates the risk of macro name collisions or copy/paste errors
where two headers inadvertently use the same guard macro.
- Eliminate inconsistency in the way include guard macros are named
(e.g., some files use `__FILE_H__`, others use `FILE_H_`, etc.).
- Reduces boilerplate (three lines replaced by one).
- Avoids polluting the macro namespace with guard symbols.
- Can improve build times as the preprocessor can skip re-opening the
file entirely, rather than re-reading it to find the matching
  `#endif` ("multiple-include optimization").
  - Note that some compilers may already optimize traditional include
guards, by recognzining the idiomatic pattern.

This change is made acknowledging that overall portability of the
code will technically be reduced, as `#pragma once` is not part of the
C/C++ standards.

However, this is considered acceptable given:

1. edk2 already defines a subset of supported compilers in
BaseTools/Conf/tools_def.template, all of which have supported
`#pragma once` for over two decades.
2. There have been concerns raised to the project about inconsistent
include guard naming and potential macro collisions.

Approximate compiler support dates:

- MSVC: Supported since Visual C++ 4.2 (1996)
- GCC: Supported since 3.4 (2004)
- Clang (LLVM based): Since initial release in 2007

c87ea47519 MdeModulePkg/HiiDatabaseDxe: Fix NULL Pointer access from EfiVarStore
Issue : When user access "Boot Maintenance Manager Menu/Secure Boot
 Configuration Menu" with PcdNullPointerDetectionPropertyMask|0x03 and
 PcdHeapGuardPageType|0x7FFF protection policy set,
 we get X64 Exception Type - 0E(#PF - Page-Fault)

Root cause : When user access "Boot Maintenance Manager Menu/Secure Boot
Configuration Menu", BIOS calls FindQuestionDefaultSetting function and
send EFI VarStore header pointer to AuthFindVariableData function.
When header pointer is NULL, it send NULL pointer to AuthFindVariableData
function and causes the page fault.

Fix : Database.c: In function FindQuestionDefaultSetting, added
NULL pointers check, so that when EFI VarStore header argument is passed
to AuthFindVariableData function, NULL pointer access will not happen.

0bcc503595 MdeModulePkg/HiiDatabase: Fix incorrect AllocateCopyPool size
The immediately preceding call, GetBestLanguage, plus the implementation of
HiiGetString, which is called immediately afterwards, make it clear that
BestLanguage is a null-terminated ASCII string, and not just a five byte,
non-null terminated buffer.

Therefore AsciiStrLen is one byte too short, meaning that whether the space
allocated is really sufficient and whether the resultant string is really
null-terminated becomes implementation-dependent. Rather than switching to
AsciiStrSize, we use an explicitly compile-time string length calculation
(both compile-time and run-time approaches are currently used elsewhere in
the codebase for copying static strings).

REF: https://bugzilla.tianocore.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1135

For 4bit BMP, there are only 2^4 = 16 colors in the palette.
But when a corrupted BMP contains more than 16 colors in the palette,
today's implementation wrongly copies all colors to the local

The similar issue also exists in the logic to handle 8bit BMP.

The patch fixes the issue by only copies the first 16 or 256 colors
in the palette depending on the BMP type.

Then it's easy to know which code blocks should be atomic

7f8aabef15 MdeModulePkg/HiiDB: Fix incorrect structure convention for checkbox
REF: https://bugzilla.tianocore.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1224

When covert IFR binary to EFI_IFR_CHECKBOX structure,
Current code has following incorrect code logic:
IfrCheckBox = (EFI_IFR_CHECKBOX *) (IfrOpHdr + 1);
The correct one should be:
IfrCheckBox = (EFI_IFR_CHECKBOX *) IfrOpHdr;

1. The bug is in function "UpdateDefaultSettingInFormPackage()"
which is to update the default setting of some HII Questions
in the IFR binary data. So it only has impact when platform
overrides default setting in HII VarStore through DynamicHii
PCD setting in Platform DSC file. If platform doesn't
override default setting, it has no impact.

2. The implementation updates the "Flags" filed in the
EFI_IFR_CHECKBOX structure to update the default
setting of checkbox.
If using "IfrCheckBox = (EFI_IFR_CHECKBOX *) (IfrOpHdr + 1);"
when wants to update the " Flags" filed in checkbox,
but in fact it will update the opcode binary
data(opcode binary length) behind checkbox binary.
And then it will cause Browser can't parse the IFR
binary data correctly. And then the possible symptom
is that some HII Question and forms may be not parsed
and then cannot be shown.

This patch is to fix this bug.

469293f8ee MdeModulePkg: Fix misuses of AllocateCopyPool
AllocateCopyPool(AllocationSize, *Buffer) will copy "AllocationSize" bytes of
memory from old "Buffer" to new allocated one. If "AllocationSize" is bigger
than size of "Buffer", heap memory overflow occurs during copy.

One solution is to allocate pool first then copy the necessary bytes to new
memory. Another is using ReallocatePool instead if old buffer will be freed
on spot.
